Proposal of a storage service for the UAS software abstraction layer

Abstract

English: Nowadays, with the evolution of avionics technology, the use of Unmanned Aircraft System to achieve mission remote sensing oriented is rising. From takeoff to landing lot of data are gathered, nevertheless only some specific information should be sent to ground station. The bandwidth connection to the ground station is a extremely important resource and should be used sparingly. The mainly objective of developing a proposal for storage module is to grant easy management of storage medium on saving service output file, logs, photography and telemetry. This document describes the process development of a storage module achieved by integrating object-oriented embedded database, in a middle ware-based architecture. In addiction all the motivation that led to use a embedded ODBMS technology to enahnce the automatic acquisition of information.
