dc.description.abstractIn this work we discuss coupling difficulties that arises when solving phase and species conservation equations. We present a compositional formulation that avoids these difficulties, and allows solving multiphase reactive transport problems for a generic number of species and reactions. The formulation is illustrated by an example.
