In this work we use the Large Eddy Simulation model to predict the thermal behavior of the air inside of a wind generator nacelle, where several elements with di erent thermal characteristics
are found. Outside air enters into the domain at high speed (40m=s), thus making the low turbulent. Given the complexity of the low (forced and natural convection in the same domain) time-averaged models were not considered. A time explicit solver for all the variables except the pressure is used, and the velocity-pressure coupling is performed with a fractional step method.
The signi cant results are the averaged temperatures on the di erent parts of the domain.
