This document has been compiled to show findings for the final year project “prototype for the tracking system of a solar panel”. The solar panel is a generation of renewable energies trying to substitute the different existing ways to produce electricity which creates a climate change, as a consequence of the elements required to create this energy. Every year the scientists find new ways to maximize the conversion of the sun energy to electricity with solar cells. This project starts with the motivation to find a way, as to how the solar panel can move in a prototype tracking device that is capable of obtaining the maximum incidence of the suns radiation on the panels, at every time during the day, thus achieving its maximum energy potential. The completed prototype resulting in a greater energy increase optimized from the panels, than on a fix frame solar panel, which only remains in front of the sun a few minutes per day.
