dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is to know the limits, advantages and disadvantages of the organic light emitting diodes (OLED) to be used as a lighting source in the gear shifter manufacturing. To do this we developed a prototype that was illuminated with a flexible deep blue OLED and analysed their emission in terms of luminance and colour across its surface as well as over time. We also conducted a durability test at room temperature with periodical photometric and colorimetric measurements. The results were analysed taking into account the recommendations of the engineering specification based on a German standard used for this purpose. |
