dc.description.abstract | In this work we present a model that tries to fit the behaviour of Janus and Epimetheus, two co-orbital moons of Saturn. This has been done before using the model for the two-dimensional restricted three-body problem, and although suitable orbits where found, there was a problem: their low stability. We improve this model by taking Saturn's oblateness into consideration, and study it to see if it fits the orbits of Janus and Epimetheus and improves the stability of such orbits. |
