Nowadays the WC bowl is cleaned manually using a brush, which is an unpleasant action. To avoid this dirty and not elegant way of cleaning, the EPS team was asked to create a new device integrated in the cistern, which will work as a toilet jet. This device is supposed to clean the stains in the bowl efficiently. There are already existing products in the market but not integrated in the cistern and they are mainly use to clean the toilet body. Another requirement is that the new product has to be cheap to be a real competition for the brushes and it has to fit inside the usual cistern. First step to come up with an idea is to do a benchmarking about how the actual products work and how to integrate the device in the cistern. Moreover taking into account characteristics founded in the researches as the shape of head shower, the usability and easy way of installation, a concept comes up. The success of this project will lead to the first integrated WC bowl cleaning device which will improve the user’s lifestyle.
