Estudio histórico, estado actual y propuesta de mejora de la parroquia Sant Martí de Cerdanyola del Vallès

Abstract

El proyecto final de grado que hemos realizado consiste en ahondar en la historia del conjunto de la Parroquia de Sant Martí en Cerdanyola del Vallès, proyectar el levantamiento de planos del estado actual, ya que es inexistente, identificar los procesos patológicos que sufre el conjunto y proponer unas mejoras armonizadas con el carácter original de los edificios. El conjunto consta de dos construcciones: la Iglesia y la Rectoría (casa actual del mosén Joan Carles). Esta datado del año 1902-1908, respectivamente. En la primera fase del proyecto, describimos el modernismo como movimiento que engloba la mayor parte de construcciones de ese momento en el municipio. Repasamos las obras más importantes de los arquitectos que proyectaron la Iglesia (Claudi Durán i Ventosa) y la Rectoría (Eduard M.Balcells i Buigas). Al ser un edificio muy emblemático en el municipio, hemos hecho un estudio histórico en el que detallamos el contexto histórico para la construcción del conjunto, y mencionamos las intervenciones que se han ido realizando a lo largo de los años. El segundo bloque recoge el levantamiento de planos del estado actual de ambos edificios. Actualmente no existía ningún plano del conjunto, solo constaban los planos originales de los arquitectos, y a la hora de la construcción hubo muchas variaciones. Debido al mal estado de algunas partes de la Parroquia, hemos hecho la identificación de los procesos patológicos existentes y proponemos algunas mejoras, para aportar soluciones y mejorar las características tanto físicas como funcionales del conjunto. Teniendo en cuenta que trabajamos con un edificio que pertenece al catálogo de Patrimonio Arquitectónico del Municipio, hemos adaptado todas las soluciones al cumplimiento de los criterios de intervención marcados por la normativa. ENGLISH: The final degree project consists in obtaining in-depth history of the set of the Saint Martí Parish in Cerdanyola del Vallès, planning the raising of planes of the current state, since it is non-existent, identifying the pathological processes that the set suffers, and finally, proposing a few progresses harmonized with the original character of the buildings. The set consists of two constructions: the Church and the Rectory (current Mosén Joan Carles’ home). It is dated in 1902 and1908, respectively. In the first phase of the project we describe the modernism as a movement that encompasses most of the constructions in the town at that time. We review the most important works of the architects who designed both the Church (Claudi Durán i Ventosa) and the Rectory (Eduard M.Balcells i Buigas). Since it is a very emblematic building in the town, we have made a historical study in which we detail the historical context for the construction of the set, and where we also mention the interventions that have been conducted over the years. In the second phase we compile the surveying of the current state of both buildings. Nowadays no plane of the set existed, only the original designs of the architects were consisted, and at the time of the construction many changes occurred. Due to the poor conditions of some parts of the Parish, we have done the identification of the phatological existing processes and we have proposed some improvements in order to provide solutions and to improve both physical and functional characteristics of the set. Bearing in mind that we work with a building that belongs to the catalogue of Architectural Heritage of the Town, we have adapted all the solutions to the fulfillment of the criteria of the intervention marked by the regulation.
