(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), 2019)
Text en actes de congrés
Accés obertThis paper presents a comprehensive analysis of SVPWM for a five-phase VSI based on SiC devices applied to motor drives. The modulation techniques analyzed use medium and large vectors to reach the reference vector. The ... -
Study of modulation techniques applied to full bridge single-phase inverters based on wide-bandgap semiconductors
(2019)
Comunicació de congrés
Accés obertWide-band gap (WBG) devices are gradually replacing standard Si semiconductors in power converters. This is due to the fact that WBG devices exhibit lower capacitance and on-resistance and besides, as they can switch at ... -
Efficiency analysis of wide band-gap semiconductors for two-level and three-level power converters
(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), 2019)
Comunicació de congrés
Accés obertPower devices based on wide band-gap materials are emerging as alternatives to silicon-based devices. These new devices allow designing and building converters with fewer power losses, and are thus more highly efficient ... -
Study and comparison of discontinuous modulation for modular multilevel converters in motor drive applications
(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), 2019-01-01)
Article
Accés obertDiscontinuous modulation applied to modular multilevel converters is an effective method for reducing the capacitor voltage ripples. In this paper, the discontinuous modulation is adapted and used in a motor drive application. ... -
Single-carrier phase-disposition PWM techniques for multiple interleaved voltage-source converter legs
(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), 2017-10-26)
Article
Accés obertInterleaved converter legs are typically modulated with individual carriers per leg and phase-shifted PWM (PS-PWM) as it facilitates current balancing amongst the legs. Phase-disposition PWM (PD-PWM), despite the better ... -
