dc.description.abstractAlthough many works on the quantification of the rockfall hazard and exposure of vehicles in roadways exist, few practical examples that include detailed consequences analysis have been presented so far. We respectively present a complete and comprehensive methodology with an emphasis on the quantification of the consequences in function of the rockfall frequency and magnitude. The developed methodology was programmed using Microsoft Excel. Its application in a given section of the roadways of Gipuzkoa, Spain is presented.
