dc.description.abstract | A three dimensional numerical model based on Discrete Element Method (DEM) and coupled with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) was implemented to simulate sand production. Simulations with no fluid flow conditions and with fluid flow conditions have been performed and the sensitivity of the simulations to numerical damping is studied. |
