This paper analyzes the effects of speckle filtering on polarimetric SAR decomposition and classification. We compared the results of the refined Lee, IDAN and Non-Local Polarimetric filters, and discussed their
ALOS/PALSAR and RadarSat–2 polarimetric SAR data are used for illustration.
