dc.description.abstract | The differential solubility of polyester substrates one thermally treated and another untreated has been determined, at different temperatures, using phenol/tetrachloroethane mixtures with the appropriate composition. It has been observed that the higher the temperature of the differential solubility test the higher are the molecular weigth and crystallinity of the undissolved fractions of untreated polyester. In the case of thermally treated substrates, both the molecular weigth and the crystallinity of the residual fraction remain constant on increasing the test temperature. |
