This thesis wants to adapt the project time management tools and techniques in the project oriented engineering education. First of all it is studied the importance of the project time management beginning from the book “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge” (PMBOK® Guide). It is also investigated the increasing implementation of the projects oriented engineering education in the universities. To adapt the project time management tools and techniques, there are defined the students’ necessities. The creation of a survey supports and complements its success. Starting from these necessities, all the tools and techniques are evaluated to find the possible problems in the students’ application. Contrasting the different problems obtained from the evaluation of the different project time management tools and techniques, it is found the necessity to solve the lack of data, experience or background of previous similar projects. The opportunity brought by the student’s project programs, drives to develop a solution which allows the students to collect and transmit the previous projects experience to the future students, improving and complementing the use of the proposed project time management tools and techniques. Finally, the thesis is summarized and discussed as well as some conclusions and orientations for further studies.
