The current medical system has been suffering in recent years a reduction in the quality of its services, largely caused by economic instability, but exacerbated by the overcrowding of patients that cause system crash . This collapse interferes directly on the quality of monitoring and supervision and quality of life of patients, and it is necessary to find solutions to improve the situation. One of the groups at risk for this decline is the people who, for their health, age, or treatment, require constant medical supervision; having to visit the centers and hospitals often, using transport and staff resources, which could be used for other cases. This project proposes to use technologies to carry out continuous monitoring of a patient remotely, from home, avoiding travel and medical staff. For this we have designed a non-hospital monitoring system using television as a visual interface. The system is capable of monitoring the patient's temperature using a wireless sensor coupled to the body. The sensor information can be viewed by the patient, through a smart TV, and the supervisor, remotely. The prototype design is capable of monitoring the patient's temperature using a wireless sensor coupled to the body. The system also includes an emergency button that generates a direct video call to the supervisor and also includes tools for improving the monitoring of treatments.
