dc.description.abstract | The coupled temperature, Navier-Stokes and induction equations are projected on a limited number of basis functions in order to derive low dimensional models of magnetohydrodynamic convection. The stability of these models is studied in function of the relevant parameters, including the applied forces, the Reynolds number and the Prandl number. |
