| Resum: | In the last two decades, adaptive antennas have been applied widely to wireless communication networks with preexisting
infrastructure ,i.e networks with base stations. A wide variety of adaptive algorithms has been developed to combat multiple access interference and propagation impairments such as multipath fading. In recent years, there has been a great interest in the design of unstructured wireless communication networks that can operate without the presence of static base stations. These networks are designed to connect anywhere and the 2.4GHz band has been chosen to accommodate ad hoc networks due to its almost global availability.
This paper studies the application of adaptive antennas as a solution to the coexistence problem in ad hoc networks.
In this paper we suggest the use of the Generalized Sidelobe Canceller (GSLC), Normalized Least Mean Square (NLMS) and
Recursive Least Mean Square (RLS) to minimize Mean Square Error in an unstructured network environment. |
