| Resum: | This paper presents three strategies for reactive power control in wind farms with STATCOM. First, the STATCOM system and its applications in electric power systems and wind farms are shown. Second, the modeling done of the
wind farm, the STATCOM and the network are presented. Finally, control strategies for reactive power delivered by the park to the network when required are shown. The result of the implementation of each control strategy is shown by simulation. |
