THE NEW CULTURE OF CITIES: TERRITORIAL TRANSFORMATIONS AND IMPACTS ON SOCIETY
Rome (Italy), november 5th-7th, 2002


The meeting, organized by the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei together with the study group for the CNR project "Territorial Transformations and Impacts on Society: the New Culture of Cities", has the aim to bring to the attention of the international scientific community the research project and to discuss the result with some opinion leaders from different disciplines and places and selected because of their fame in the area of urban studies.

The meeting is divided into five sessions and will be organized around reports of the members of the CNR research group, the presentations from the guest academics and the discussions.

The meeting promoters will be responsible for the publication of the work presented, and a certain number of selected papers.
